Issue on accessory textures

So im making an accessory that im soon going to upload as ugc. The problem is when I parent it to an accessory, the textures are instantly converted to a funky look. How do I fix this?

And heres the texture image incase it helps!

Looks like severe compression. I suggest making flat color parts of your texture (the places where there aren’t any eyes or spirals) and scale them down into little blocks of color on the image and stack the UVs on top of each other to save precious texture space. Obviously this wouldn’t work if the entire thing had specific textures and detail all over, but you can scale up the parts with detail with this way. Also make sure to increase the distance between UV islands to about 4 px so that you don’t get these weird stripes:

Edit: You should also shade the mesh smooth so that you don’t see the individual face shading

How do I do that? Sorry, im actually really new to blender

Also the eye parts are actally not textures, they are apart of the 3d model as spheres and stuff.

But I can try making the UV islands to about 4 pixels

In the UV editor just layer the flat colors over islands of yellow, teal, and red. You would make the blobs of color in the Texture Paint tab.

YO THAT WORKED! TYSM!

no seriously, I’ve been struggling with this kind of thing for a very long time, and its a blessing I finally have a solution, Have a nice day!
