The “Silverfin Hood,” a redeemable toy code accessory on Roblox, has had incorrect attachment configurations for several years. Due to this issue, the item cannot be worn properly on avatars, significantly diminishing its usability and intended aesthetic appeal.
As this is an exclusive toy code item, users who obtained it expected a functional and well-designed accessory. I kindly request that Roblox moderators and developers review the item’s attachment points and adjust them to ensure compatibility with avatars as intended.
Thank you for looking into this matter and enhancing the experience for those who own this item.
Expected behavior
I expect the attachment points for the “Silverfin Hood” to be corrected so that the item fits properly on avatars when equipped. The hood should align seamlessly with the avatar’s head as intended, ensuring it functions and appears as a wearable accessory.
Thank you for acknowledging the issue! I appreciate the team’s attention to this matter, and I’m sure many users who own the Silverfin Hood will be thrilled to see it working as intended. If there’s any additional information or testing needed on my end, feel free to let me know. I look forward to hearing about the update!
Thank you for flagging this. The hood is assigned to the Hat attachment point, which is the correct Attachment point for this Accessory. If you want to reposition the Hat, you can use Accessory Adjustment to move, rotate or scale it any way you’d like.
Not sure that this will get through since this report is marked as closed now, but this hat is pretty significantly offcenter, and the accessory adjustment tool doesn’t allow for enough precision to properly recenter this accessory. I’ve really been hoping that Roblox would center this accessory eventually as an owner myself.
Using the Accessory Adjustment feature to fix a clear placement issue with an item is a workaround. Players shouldn’t have to go through the process of loading into the adjustment menu and fiddling with sliders every time they wanna wear a hat with a positioning flaw.
The original hat this is modified from, the Masked Hood of the Doomspeaker, isn’t offcenter. None of the other hoods in the series are offcenter. What’s stopping this from being fixed with the Silverfin Hood?
