Issue with adding animation to custom character

I’m trying to make animations for my custom character in my FPS (Shooter) game.

I added a walking animation via the script here (Using Animations in Games) and I spawn in and my character is invisible and half of it clips through the baseplate and just “surfs” off the map with no control. My game max/min zoom distance is 0.5, because its an FPS game.

Sounds like perhaps a HipHeight issue? If your character is shorter or taller than the regular Roblox avatar, make sure this is changed accordingly.

The size is a bit questionable for my character now but yea
