I have an accessory that is about the country of Montenegro but the filter doesn’t let me put “Montenegro” in the name. I’ve had to settle with it being “Montene_ro”, i can tell that roblox may have thought that the “negro” part of the countrys name may have been inappropriate but having to change specific letters just makes it look even more inappropriate. What’s even more absurd is that there are already accessories on the marketplace that have the country’s name unfiltered and thus get in the marketplace search results far more easily, enjoying an unfair advantage from Roblox’s oversight.
This is the item: Montene_ro Shoulder Pal - Roblox
Trying to set the item name to “Montenegro Shoulder Pal” shows that the name has been moderated
Yeah, I’ve had this issue of uploading completely safe and legible items, I’ve asked them before on this and they just resaid my issue professionally saying, “We do not allow topics that don’t follow or TOS.”
By the way, if it got moderated and you bypassed it, wouldn’t your item be at risk of moderation leading to deletion?
What’s strange is the fact that theres some accessories on the marketplace that are completely fine, despite using these terms that roblox filters. Strange that i would even have to twist the name “Montenegro” just to make an item about a completely ordinary thing.
For example these items have no issue with the filter:
Really unfair for competition on the marketplace, theres items that managed to use the correct terms before filters were changed to be stricter, and now new items stand no chance at actually competing since the names have to be twisted for it to even be acceptable.
