Issue with Neons (Unknown if a Bug or what)

Hi, I’ve been experiencing an issue with neons for quite a while, these are the things I’ve tried to do to fix it;

  • Restarting Roblox Studio
  • Re-installing Roblox Studio
  • Going to a new template
  • Redoing lighting
  • Turning up quality on Roblox Studio

Here is the issue;

The neon looks blurry and doesn’t look right and this has been an issue recently and I’m unaware if this is a bug or what.

If anyone could assist be that’d be greatly appreciated.

This is what a neon should look like for reference

Is there an issue with the bloom setting under lighting?

Such a weird bug!

Bloom doesn’t seem to effect it even when lowered + highered, + it happens in different templates also.

So weird! It must be a studio bug. I think there is a tag you can file this post under for more support. #bug-reports or #bug-reports:studio-bugs

Best of luck, this must be frustrating.

  • Does this issue happen on any detail level on Roblox Studio?
  • If you reduce the brightness of the neon material (darken the colour of the part, e.g. blue → dark blue) would the blur reduce the impact it has?
  • Does the neon’s blur change regardless of any changes made in the game.Lighting.Technology property?
  • Does this issue specifically happen in that studio in particular? If it’s not, then it may be a possible issue with the graphics card not entirely supporting the lighting it produces out of the neon blocks. This is just an assumption, honestly. There may be more depth into it than I can guess.

Happens in-game aswell, nothing wrong w/ my graphics card others experience it also, nothing with lighting changes it, nor colors and I have my graphics all the way up just the neon for some reason.
