i know it’s a horribly old input device (~2002) but surely it’s mostly the same functionality as a regular gamepad (xbox, playstation, etc.) and should have some functionality.
(calibrated joystick a few times, restarted computer, functions perfectly fine in everything but roblox)
issue: USB joystick does not work in roblox, and specifically only roblox.
expected behaviour: USB joystick should allow me to use it in roblox games as if it was a gamepad.
roblox technology isnt advanced enough to support any devices other than ps4 and xbox controllers
this thing is just a big thumbstick with a couple inputs (equivalents to X,Y,A,B, etc.) on it so i don’t see why roblox can’t support it
its because they are too busy trying to implement ai and other things that people specifically dont want to their game engine.
you can use an emulator like x360ce, i know it works because i used it.
all to please the shareholders…
