Issue with scaling all parts of a model in one direction

Hey,
I have a Model made from Parts and Meshes. I want to lenghen or shorten the part freely using f3x by just selecting the model, however due to the mesh’s rotation this happens:

I think the only way you can fix this properly is by scaling the meshes and parts apart from each other. You also can export the parts to a mesh and then you can scale the group, but you can’t edit the meshes anymore, so I think the first option is the best one.

Would it work if i rotate the meshed and reimport them?

I don’t think so, I think you need to scale the parts manually.
