Hello, I’m trying to find possible solutions for the issue I’ve been facing while playing roblox on phone these days.
First off, I’m facing issues with microphone input on my phone without any earbuds connected: I can hear game sounds and people’s voice fairly well, yet when I talk roblox struggles to pick up any input and the microphone bubble on my head rarely shows the green bar.
I ensured my default microphone is actually working well via the recorder app and it sounded normal.
First thing I tried to resolve the issue was researching for any posts on devforum.com and reddit.com from people with similar issues, yet I have not found much.
Second thing I tried doing was connecting my Bluetooth earbuds to my phone and playing roblox on it, which seemed to have resolved my issue with microphone volume input except for the fact that every sound in the game becomes VERY muffled and low volume. Researching on the issue regarding the Bluetooth headphones I’ve figured that my earbuds were going into call mode since voice chat was using their microphone.
I’m not sure if this counts as a bug, i’d appreciate if anyone could help me find out a way to resolve the issue I’m facing without the need to buy new headphones.
I tried looking for ways to change the input device but I can’t really find anything in the settings app.
(EDIT): I have found a way to manually change input/output device through an app called Lesser AudioSwitch: I’ve changed the output device to the phone speakers and the input device to my Bluetooth earbuds microphone, yet I still couldn’t hear anything coming from the game itself. I have also noticed that roblox was using the microphone and changed the output device to Earpiece.
Alright sorry for wasting any of your time but it seems I’ve found pretty much a solution to my problem, I tried testing if this happened to any of the other Bluetooth earbuds I have and the same problem didn’t occur this time.
