My theory is that you could delete the humanoid that’s already in there and create a new one to fix the issue.

If that doesn’t work, could you show me the children of said humanoid?

that seemed to fix the flinging but walking is still broken

here’s the humanoid and its children

also, i didn’t mention but it uses mesh parts, not normal parts for limbs, however they have the same physical properties so i’m not sure that’s the issue

i believe it is because your starterCharacter’s scale is very small. why does this happen? i have no clue, i am not a prominent scripter/builder…

in the file you sent, the starterCharacter has its scale set to 0.01! this topic post talks more about this:

i have fixed in the file, but it so easy to fix it would take more work to send a new file back, so here are some instructions!

HOW TO FIX:

  1. select the starterCharacter model
  2. ungroup the model
  3. while still selecting all of the children, group it again
  4. name it StarterCharacter and you can set it up again

the new model now has a refreshed scale of 1, and there is no more “icy” movement (for some reason i do not know :sob:)

hope this works for you, good luck!
