Issues with the Roblox Verified Badge

This is happening on all platforms (Windows, Mac, Mobile)

When looking at anyone’s profile, and scrolling down, you usually see their friends list. But when you look at the first 9 friends on the list the checkmark is no longer visible next to any user that is usually verified, This is also happening on the homepage as you can see on the second screenshot the checkmark does is not visible.

Issue 2

When clicking at the verified badge of any profile, nothing happens. However on a group when you click the verified checkmark, information is given about what the badge actually is.

This is not going to happen at all. It’s likely a bug caused by a recent website update.

If this logic was applied to every bug report, Roblox would be FULL of bugs

Additional info:

The APIs responsible for getting user info (ex. this one) are still returning the hasVerifiedBadge property as true - it’s a matter of Roblox’s HTML no longer displaying the checkmark at all regardless of what the API returns.

@Iron_Legion Maybe you could help with this?

Thanks for checking!

Do you know if Issue 2 is new? We are still investigating but it might take some extra time.

Pretty sure it’s not new actually, the info pop up in question has never existed in the first place on user profiles. However it’d be really awesome (and hopefully not too difficult) for you guys to add it in (as it does make sense for consistency) and I really hope we don’t have to go through the pain of making a feature request for it

I would like to add that clicking on the “verified” badge on a Guilded group announcement also doesn’t display the pop-up that shows more information about the badge.

Another thing is that the “verified” badge don’t appear on verified groups on the group list on the Mobile app.

This is how it looks like in the website and the Desktop and UWP Windows apps:-

And this is how it looks like in the Mobile app:-

It also don’t appear when searching for people or friends on the Universal app (which includes the Mobile app, Desktop app and the UWP app)

Edit: This also affects the website:-

There are many places where the “verified” badge don’t appear and when the pop-up that shows more information about the badge don’t appear when clicked, I can’t cover all use cases here.

Thanks for your detailed testing @ItzAidfoplays390!

Just to set expectations here, this list covers a lot of teams’ surfaces and prioritizing fixing/adding it for each team will take some time, so they probably will not be fixed that soon.

But we appreciate your help in finding places that still need it to be added!

Thanks @bvetterdays! We will try to add it, however it is not as trivial as I had initially expected so it will take some time. Appreciate your patience!
