It is too difficult to efficiently browse through the feedback categories

As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard to browse the feedback categories (#bug-reports and #feature-requests) on the forum without having to sift through numerous replies by people have clearly have not familiarised themselves with the category rules before and use the replies section as some sort of chit-chat area when it should be reserved for contributing additional information.

If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve my experience using the forum because not only would it allow me to browse these feedback categories more efficiently.

Some examples of the many blatant transgressions of these category rules:

I agree that the forum does need a way to allow members to give feedback too, but without restricting this to people who have demonstrated that they can use these categories properly, this harms the experience for everyone else. I am certain that there are numerous regulars who also don’t follow the rules properly, but this problem is exacerbated when these categories are opened to members.

Hey @bt5191 the way we currently process feature requests and bug reports internally is not really disrupted by bumps without additional content that much. We do some prioritization based on the kind of engagement the thread is getting and random bumps don’t really change the priority. So this is mostly a problem just for people who are reading the categories on the forum itself, if that is actually a significant problem currently.

The main limitation of the forum currently is that everything is served in recent post order, and recent post order does not really correlate with post quality. We don’t use recent post order (after the first topic post) to intake creator feedback internally.

From my own personal viewing of the forum I don’t see many posts where these kind of replies distort the signal-to-noise ratio that much. Feel free to DM me specific examples where you think the topic is hard to digest and I can look into it as we plan out improvements to how we intake creator feedback.

On your recommended solution: we have no interest in further restricting members from posting feedback; accessibility here is important.

Thanks for the quick reply - I do often come across posts which negatively impact my viewing experience, but I believe it may just be that I’m particularly bothered by them (hence why I mute the support categories and development discussion). Appreciate the insight into how things work internally; personally, I would love if we heard more about this sort of stuff because Roblox has, in a way, been notorious for not being transparent and this would be a step in the right direction towards changing that.
