It should be possible to log in to devforum with a deactivated account

Right now, my account is deactivated because a group of dangerous people are using my avatars and username on nsfw content without my permission , which I can’t fight back without having to deactivate my account but it makes it impossible to log in to devforum.

Please make it so deactivated aren’t really accounted as “moderated” when logging in through devforum.

Hey there, you won’t be able to use OAuth applications including first-party (DevForum, events.roblox.com) and third-party apps when your account is in any other state than normal. It is expected behavior that when you deactivate your account you will not be able to log in on these other apps anymore. Most Roblox functionality is already disabled when you deactivate your account. We will not be making any changes here for the time being.

Well that’s really unfortunate, guess I’d have to reactivate my account briefly just to log in I guess.

Please note that that kind of flow is not intended and may break in the future for first-party Roblox apps. We are going to be syncing account information and account enabled state to connected sites like the DevForum.

Basically I don’t think you are using temporary account deactivation for the intended reason here. It is not intended to be an account security feature.

I know, but it’s the only way I can disable api functions like fetching my outfit, if there was an option to disable having my outfit used or fetched I would not have to deactivate my account
You can disable inventory why not outfits too?
What happens when my account is deactivated.

*Outfit = HumanoidDescription.

Please make a feature request for that if that is important to you.

I unfortunately can’t due to my member level but there was a similar topic Better privacy for user outfits where none of the engineers bothered to reply despite this being a serious issue.

If my member level were to increase or I’ve gotten an exception to make a feature request, I can do it.
