Item "Vacationing Alien" incorrectly positioned on player's head

This item is incorrectly positioned on player’s heads, as the player’s head clips through the hat. This causes the item to be pretty much unusable while making an avatar with it.

didn’t notice the swift response until now, thanks for looking into it

bumping this post, seen some stuff fixed

responding to also note i have tried repositioning the hat however the mesh is too messy to perfect.

there has been no acknowledgement under this post for awhile so im just responding to see if theres any updates, i’d like to see the hat fixed for all heads as using the positioning thing is rough on it

“Thanks! We’re looking into it!” and similar are pretty much staff code for “We won’t fix it.”

well that sure is a bummer, i hope something comes out of it eventually though!

Not really. This is a copy-and-paste response that they usually write and submit as a reply. However, after investigating and fixing the problem, they will tell you with another reply as an update.

Most responses from Howimetted, Focia19, and thirdtakeonit are acknowledgments, meaning that they reviewed it and sent it internally to their database. Since there are many reports filing up, this one is also included, being in queue.

@u_m Now, I’m not a Roblox employee, but this report will most likely be set as “Closed” because, according to many responses from @Klaugrana001, items that are more than 6 months old won’t be fixed as it is not on their prioritization radar. That said, they will advise you to use the new feature called “Accessory Adjustment”, which you can find in Roblox Universal App → Avatar → Avatar Refinement (AvatarRefinement) → Accessory Adjustment (AccessoryAdjustment).

When the impactful reports are resolved, they say you can file another bug report about this.

Hopefully, this can help you out!

Thanks for the report. Juan is correct. You can adjust the fitting using Accessory Adjustment.

The biggest reason we won’t update this is because it affects everyone who owns it. If you use Accessory Adjustment, you can have it where you’d like it, especially when it’s only off by a little.

Hope this helps!
