Japanese Temple

Hello,

For the past 6 hours I’ve been working on a Japanese Temple for a friend creating a racing game.

The most challenging part of the build was definitely the roof - it was difficult to give the roof its pointiness and add tiles (especially with cylinder shaped tiles) but overall I’m happy with the results.

Most of this was completed on Studio but I relied heavily on Blender for the curvature in the roof and the tiles.

Let me know what you all think!

I earned a whopping 500R$ from this… I could have probably charged more but I thought I’d be kind to my friend

This is really cool, would definitely look really cool in a showcase game with the right lighting and environment.

500R$ is $0.29/hr for 6 hours work.
Actual slave labour :frowning:

This build is super cool! I really recommend you increase the price though. I understand you were selling it to a friend however so the low price is nice of you.

Regardless if you know them or not, charge them the proper amount. This build could have got R$5,000 It’s very detailed.

Honestly, I’m not too fussed about payment. When I was asked to create it I did so mostly for the experience; an awful lot of builders struggle with curved roofs so I thought I’d attempt the challenge to see how it goes.

Obviously more money is always nice and it probably isn’t worth 500R$ - but I care more about the lessons learned than the Robux (as corny as it sounds).
