Jojo Chains Of Fate Update Log #4 #5

After nearly 2 years of work, multiple public tests. I have finally released the Alpha version of Jojo Chains Of Fate. Thank you for everything.

Update Log:

  • More Fixes with the Yen / Exp Issue
  • Made it so rebirth gives you 3x exp, and with 2x exp + rebirth gives you 4x exp
  • If you rebirth, GE’s rarity is changed to Epic
  • If you rebirth, your reroll chances of getting a higher rarity stand is higher
  • Fixed Kizuna Boss not teleporting you back to the main game
  • Fixed not being able to use your stand in Toxic Graveyard
  • If you rebirth, reroll quest gives you 2 rerolls instead of 1
  • Minor rebirth fix + badge fix
  • If you have rebirth, you can choose to skip the storymode cutscene at the start
  • Fixes to the Reroll + Arrow Hunt Cave place breaking after rebirthing
  • Fixed rebirth not giving you the exp reawards
  • Added FFA Gamemode
  • Fixed Stands doing spam barrage
  • Redid the KO system completely, now kills can give you kos, yen exp and the boosters whatever

  • Now made it so rebirth 1 has a level cap of 2000

Early System Testing:

  • Rebirth increases your damage by: [THIS ONLY WORKS FOR CD/GER]
    [damage] * [rebirth] / 2 [this number goes up by 1 by each rebirth] * 2.31

  • Health Skill Point Value increases your health by:
    [base health] + 4 [health skill point: 5] / 5

  • Cooldown is increased to 10 seconds [THIS ONLY WORKS FOR CD/GER] (max 45)

  • Resilience Skill Point Value increases your blocking length by: [THIS ONLY WORKS FOR CD/GER]
    [base blocking amount] + .9 [base blocking amount] / 7

  • Fixed Seven Page Muda breaking if enemy resets

  • Fixed Virus Cap throw not stacking damage

  • Fixed PH being able to do basic combat mid rush

  • Fixed CD Not doing damage

  • Patched a old dartguy quest farm exploit

  • Finished Mute / Unmute music button (need to fix this for ffa too)

  • Some fixes to skill point stats

  • Forgot to give skill points so every level = 1 skill point

  • Redid rebirth damage increase where:
    [base damage] + 5 * [rebirth value] / 5 (THIS BOOST MAY OR MAY NOT WORK ?)

  • Redid the heal system (CD Heal should be fixed now?)

  • The rebirth damage boost now applies on projectiles
    (reminder that this is just only for CD and GER

  • Fixed CD Kick not playing any animations

  • Nerfed Suzaki

  • Suzaki has a 1/3 chance of dropping a skill point after defeat

  • Nagare has a 1/4 chance of dropping a skill point after defeat

  • Now you can actually see the zippers for SF’s T and F Move

  • Minor Visual Effect for SF’s T Move

  • SF’s Heavy Strike (or the end combo) is now a extended punch

  • Fixed Seven Page Muda

  • Added a new special ability for Sticky Fingers, a ari ari beatdown. [H move]

  • Rebirth giving you damage actually works now

  • SF’s Heavy Strike Damage went from 25 to 35

  • Now instead of your stand auto loading and you going through a boring loading screen, you
    just hop in and press a button you get ur stand

  • Redid the animation for SF Travel and fixed it completely this time.

  • Fixed Tusk Act 4 not summoning, it was the reskin system causing some trouble

  • Fixed Some of GE’s effects not loading

  • Remade TA4 (coding wise) (counts more of a improvement) (was originally going by the order the script was but it was so broken that it needed fixing.)

  • Fixed NPC’s not doing any damage for basic combat
    (expect a massive remake for all NPCS, I’ll be using the open sourced version of MR to transfer them into R6 as well.)

  • For the reroll place, I added R6 animations

  • The Stand arrow hunt place has a R6 arrow stab animation

  • R6 Ragdoll added

  • Added a new badge

  • Fixed CD Wall bug

  • Fixed Stands not doing damage to other players (was caused due to the R6 switch)

  • Added Camera Cutscene for Sticky Fingers beatdown

  • [Skill Points finally finished] (this is only working for stands that has been revamped):
    Ultimate: - This is slightly more stand specific, I try my best to add an “Ultimate” for every stand possible. But here is what it offers:
    Ultimate Skills will be locked behind a certain amount of Ultimate Stat Points which is listed in the skill tree system.
    What does Ultimate Skills do? Increases the damage of your Ultimate Ability to the max it can it (Mainly for combo moves like 7 Page
    Muda or SPP Judgement) or increase the length of the time stop. However, there is a limit depending on the ability or the stand and
    so on.

    Projectitles: - Increases Projectile Speeds and duration.

  • [Current effects of Ultimate:]

    • Starter and Finisher Damage increases for 7 Page Muda, SF’s ARI ARI, CD’s Beatdown.
    • All stand that has been revamped up till now are facing the effects of Projectitle Stat
      ? Moves like BTD hasn’t been added so no Ultimate Stat thing for KQ.
      ? Time stop was expected to be effected however we are still facing issues with the ability and will be dealt with tomorrow?

  • Idk whats causing the yen glitch but if your yen goes negative then it will revert to 0

  • Changed SPP’s judge key to DPadDown (xbox)

  • Double Y is afterimage for MIH (xbox)

  • KC’s time erase move has been changed to DPadDown (xbox)

  • GER’s throw rock has been moved to DPadDown (xbox)

  • Heart Throw on xbox has been moved to DPadDown (xbox)

  • Removed CD’s bullet move and replaced it with heavy strike for xbox

  • Now you can use heavy punch / strike by pressing R

  • Removed the old combat system, now introducing a regular basic click, but if you charge your attack for 1 or so seconds, you can do a slightly stronger version of a basic punch but cooldown is longer

  • Changed block key to middle mouse click

  • Fixes to GER

  • Fixes to GE vine stun

  • Added a way of seeing where the fetch quest’s items are located

  • Finished Quest Cancel

  • You burning up in the arrow hunt place should be fixed

  • Removed SPP’s succ move because we just couldn’t make it work due to how our enemy npc systems were made

  • There was a cap put in place for Resilience which is why you wouldn’t get any exp from it. Now it should tell you that, and now your skill points won’t be wasted if you do click on it.

  • Fixed not being able to play the cave in the storymode

  • Fixed Brute not attacking back

  • Added a cooldown to Suzaki’s dash

  • Made all projectiles smoother by setting it’s network ownership to the player

  • TW’s knife does 6 more damage

  • Redid the system for Tusk’s Y Move (so it should be fixed now.)

  • Nerfed KC’s rush

  • Reduced The Hand’s pull range

  • Fixed GER, The Hand not being to hit enemy npcs with some of their moves

  • Ultimate now makes time stop last longer, the max limit for it is 15 seconds though.

  • Kando boss may or may not had outdated datastore, i fixed that though.

Made changes to Rebirth:

  • Your stand no longer gets reset

  • Your rep doesn’t get reset (And you also can’t repeat the corona boss quest)

  • Your rerolls no longer get reset

  • Finished GER RTZ, it cancels all moves

  • You can now play the first chapter as many times as you want but you will only get the awards once

  • You can now clear the first chapter individually, you will get 12k exp, 10k yen for doing so.

  • Lighting + Building revamps to Story Mode - Beginning #1 place

  • Added a new code, “SubToKTGGaming”

  • New Reroll system, now the game doesn’t send you the storymode right at the start of the game.

  • Increased Quest EXP / Yen rewards for Gangster, Nagare, Suzaki

  • Added a new find quest where you find a bag of ingredients in it

  • Added a new find quest where you find a bunny

  • Purple Quests now doesn’t make you reset, this was put in place so scripts would be updated and you couldn’t do the quest anymore, it was a temp thing that should have been removed ages ago

  • When you select your stand and summon / desummon, the procress should be much faster now

  • Added 2 new moves to GER

  • Added a new Kung Fu Quest

  • Added team death match as a gamemode

  • Now it tells you if you failed or successfully completed a quest + with sound

  • Added a new quest called the Mad Scientist where you find his screwdriver then give it back to him within 100 seconds

  • Completely remade The Hand and it’s model and effects

  • Revamped WS and it’s effects

    i haven’t worked on it’s own personal arrow hunt place yet so bare with me for nowww
