Jojomen56's Utility Plugin [v. 2.7]
Jo, you might want to debounce the buttons.
They already do. Tell me if there was anything in the output as I cannot reproduce the same result.

Does this have an API to make your own addons to this plugin?

If not, I would really love it.

He made his own :uhhh:
Actually, I sent him the copy of the plugin that I downloaded a while back :stuck_out_tongue:

Um, how do I activate it? When I click the button nothing happens.

I thought I would bring back this thread since I’ve added some new things ever since it was published.
The newest addition is the capacity of, with the click of a button, collecting all assets in your place file. MeshIds, TextureIds, decals, textures, etc., making it easier to preload all assets.

After the GCC contest, I will try and add the following two things:
[li]Remove duplicates and[/li]
[li]Search through all script sources[/li]

Hope you like.

There is now a new feature (in v. 2.3): Toggle Core GUI display for easy custom GUI positioning.

Let me put it into context: You know when you’re making buttons around the where you think the Core GUIs are, but you end up realizing, online/on Play Solo, that your GUIs are actually behind the Core GUIs? This will help I’m sure.

Global Find is already a thing, activate with Ctrl-Shift-F.

I already use Ctrl+Shift+F. That’s not what I meant.

I meant it in this context:

Meaning it will also, in the future, search through scripts for asset IDs and add them to the table that is given to you (done through the plugin script, not with the use of the keyboard).

There is now a new feature (in v. 2.4): Shortcut functions!

For now, there is only one shortcut function and I hope to be adding more in the near future!
Read the main (first) post of this thread and look for the “NEW” to know exactly what I’m talking about!

What shortcut functions would YOU like to see added??

Big update: Relating to this post, I thought it was the right thing to do when I decided to take the challenge myself. Basically, it’s a color “wheel” like the built-in one except it lets you see the changes as you drag the cursor around. It works for any type of color property of any object. Read more about it here.

Read about the new short function_G.primary()” by finding the “NEW” on the main post here!

I love how well documented this plugin is.

It would be great if the tween speed property (which affects transition time between sub-menus) would also affect how long it takes for the plugin to slide on and off of the screen when (de)activated.
