Jump hovers down on land; Humanoid: Custom Character

Here it is pretty obvious with my large character that there is an air-cushion effect upon landing.

From experience I can tell this is the Humanoid trying to stay with the platform its on, but its super magnified and pretty gross here, and I am not sure how to fix it.

Change the HipHeight property of the Humanoid instance.

hip height is correct, 13.5 here. Tried few others. Its just the ratio of the jump being small to the character height. Small jumps really get interupted by this anti-floor-sink force and it just looks gross.
