Very nice GFX! The characters, background, and the editing overall get the “chaos” or “anarchy” feeling to it (I assume that’s what you’re going for.) I like the ember spark overlay, the fire on the molotov, really puts emotion into what’s going on in the picture. All of the characters are seen bringing weapons, and from that, you basically know they’re going to some kind of a fight so I like how it is being delivered. Each of the characters is different, bringing more personality to them. Detailings on them are also great, I like the AKs.
However, there are some minor tweaks and suggestions I’d like to recommend. The top part of the image kinda looks empty, this could be used as a place for the game logo, or the game title. But if you’re not gonna put anything to it, I’d suggest adding more-overlay effects on top, like maybe a smoke trail, or even a fire trail (Which could come from smoke grenades and other molotov thrown behind them in a fight scenario.) And the other thing is I think the vignetting might be a little too thin, maybe consider making it a bit going in deeper into the center of the image. You could also put a noise filter on top of everything. That’s all from me!
Thank you taking the time to give me actual feedback and advice, I appreciate the kind words! I was definitely going for the chaos/anarchy feeling towards it after being inspired by Criminality. I’ll definitely think about adding some more stuff at the top of the scene; I decided to scrap the vignette entirely after some more feedback from other people and I think it makes it look better overall.
I think it looks pretty good. The colors are easy to look at, the ashes are a nice touch, it has a nice balance of people in the background, and it looks overall very complete.
My only criticism is that I feel that the guy on the right looks a little bit too clear compared to the rest of the background and it kinda focuses the attention in a weird spot since it’s off to the side. You can either fix this by **a.**blurring him a little bit (but not too much since he’s close up) and putting something else for the viewer to focus on or **b.**by somehow bringing him closer to the middle (doesn’t have to be in the center just closer to the center) without making him block anyone else. Please note that I am not an artist and I could be completely wrong and I am sorry if I am
Hey, thanks for the feedback. Him being clearer was on purpose, I wanted to try something new with depth of field and instead of having the center of focus at the middle I pushed him to the right.
