kanri — A Modern Replacement for Basic Admin Essentials
Introduction
Hello everyone!
Over the past while I’ve been working on a project called kanri , a modernized Roblox administration system inspired by Basic Admin Essentials while introducing a large amount of new improvements, features, customization, and quality of life upgrades.
The name kanri (管理) comes from the Japanese word for management , which reflects the project’s focus on moderation, administration, organization, and community management.
The goal of kanri is not to completely reinvent Roblox administration systems, but instead to modernize the experience and provide developers and community owners with a cleaner, more powerful, and actively maintained alternative.
Why I Started kanri
A lot of Roblox communities still use older administration systems that:
- feel outdated
- lack customization
- have older UI designs
- are difficult to expand
- are no longer actively maintained
One of the main reasons I wanted to create kanri was because it feels like the Roblox community constantly creates more and more Basic Admin Essentials alternatives, but many of them end up being abandoned, outdated, poorly optimized, or lacking long-term support.
Rather than making “just another admin system,” the goal with Kanri is to provide a polished, actively maintained, modern replacement that improves on the overall experience while still feeling familiar to communities already using systems like Basic Admin Essentials.
