Keep surface texture after exporting to and/from blender

Hello there.

I’m building a tree, and I am utilizing a Resurface Surface Plugin to use the old surfaces such as studs, welds, inlets, etc.

However, I simply do not know how I keep the studs on the model, when I export it to blender, clean the model up, and re-import it.

I am currently using a classic material pack, and while it does have it’s fair share of uses, I simply dislike the fact that it adds studs to the side of the parts, making the whole tree feel uneven and unnatural.

So, how do I keep the original studs/texture on there after I re-import them from blender?
