When I have been scripting for a while then suddenly the keyboard settings changes.
Instead of writing = it writes * instead of ) it writes ( etc. Alot of keys changes order and I can’t find { no more.
It’s really annoying and started happening in one of your latest updates. I use a swedish keyboard and it works perfect everytime I start the studio but after a while it breaks.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Had this a while ago, so it’s not related to any new update, also on a swedish keyboard. It’s a super rare bug, and it hasn’t happened since I upgraded from Windows 7 to 10 either. Without a doubt the most annoying bug I’ve ever encountered in studio.
Unable to reproduce on a Swedish layout and haven’t had this on the Danish one either. My keyboard presumably fits all Scandinavian layouts (ÖÄ or ÆØ depending on layout). Maybe it didn’t trigger because I didn’t use it for long enough?
By pressing = on a UK layout I get “)”.
I’d like to bump this issue since I constantly have to restart studio due to this bug.
This is an OS feature and not a bug specifically of Studio. You’re probably accidentally hitting a key combination that changes keyboard configuration. (I think something like shift + an arrow key, or something weird like that)
I remember I was using a really annoying English/French keyboard in school once and that machine had some weird way to switch into French mode. It would turn ? into é and whatnot.
I’v now removed the english version of keyboard layouts, hopefully this does it.
