Leaving the device on for more than 20 minutes will cause the “you were disconnected for being idle for 20 minutes” but the device will not turn off. The app should automatically turn off after a minute after the message shows up. The worse part is that all the characters and parts are still rendered in the background, leading to overheating if you had full graphics on.
I don’t know if it is this simple, but setting isIdleTimerDisabled = false when the kick message appears should be a possible fix. There is also a warning message in the Apple’s documentation, “You should set this property only if necessary and should be sure to reset it to false when the need no longer exists.” Which roblox seems to have overlooked if they are using this property.
Edit: I use a iPad Pro (11-inch) (4th generation) and have this issue.
Expected behavior
Mobile device should be able to turn off while kick messages are on screen.
Pretty sure it’s on every mobile device. The roblox version that can be bought on the app store. It is very easy to reproduce by either being kicked by the server or waiting 20 minutes and getting kicked.

I fell asleep once with my phone running retail tycoon, and it was still running around 8 hours later with the kick message shown
It was plugged in and i don’t think it was that hot, but this situation could certainly cause issues, ranging from depleted batteries to potentially affected performance
My last iPad overheated so bad that the back of the iPad curved a little. Basically there was a very small hole between the screen and the back of the iPad I can peek through but iPad still worked. The iPad from that point also needed to put in the freezer for at least 5 minutes or else it would not turn on, it had to stay on or went back into freezer for few. (I know cold temperatures are not the best for devices now but it seemed that was the only way to get it to work)
I have new ipad now but the overheating is the main reason for this bug report, old devices can be destroyed if left on too long with roblox.
