Each points leads to a profile because I liked the blue text instead of plain white all the way through, version two of our project is releasing shortly so this is basically a post regarding version 2.
Due to ROBLOX moderation regarding require functions, we have been flagged for moderation multiple times. (falsely) Therefore, we have not yet been able to publish kiCore to the creator store, we hope to have this resolved for version 2.
I’m not too sure, my main script requires the module which ROBLOX keeps flagging down as a violation. No matter how many times we appeal, it get’s denied.
+1 to this. I am fully toward seeing this admin system have its own GitHub repo. I think its open-sourcing would increase transparency for the system as there isn’t much about its details in this post. Additionally, as it is “99% server-sided” in structure, the revealing of its source should not (significantly) weaken the security of the admin system.
Whether the source is released as an RBXM file or a GitHub repository, there is the potential concern for clones, though I think that its open-sourced nature will help it stand out as a trustworthy admin system and promote PRs with forks. Personally, I’d lean toward releasing this on GitHub. The model itself could load a stable version of the admin system as could be released on the repo, with fallbacks to the last stable version if anything goes wrong. This would allow the community to provide constant feedback/improvements on the admin system in the form of issues or pull requests. I think this notion has a lot of potential in community-added features as well.
