Kindle Fire needs to update Roblox but no update available

  • Detailed description of bug; After reading the ROBLOX Twitter comments, I came across a vast number of people complaining about a bug they are experiencing. The Amazon Kindle Fire Userbase are claiming that their ROBLOX App says it needs to update, so, when you go to the App Store to update it, it only says Open, not update. This results in the Application to be usable which renders the userbase void. This is my understanding of the bug.

  • Where the bug happens (be specific); Amazon Kindle Fire ROBLOX Application.

  • When it started happening; It seems to have started happening at least several days ago.

  • Screenshots and videos of the bug; Below are severe screenshots on the ROBLOX Twitter of people complaining. Names have been blanked to protect personal information which is identifiable.

  • Steps to reproduce the issue (be minimal, specific, consistent!); You’d have to already have the ROBLOX App installed on a Kindle Fire, open it and voila. This seems to happen 100% of the time.

  • System Specs: Only the make and model is known: Amazon Kindle Fire Tablet.

This sounds more like a bug on the Amazon’s App Store. I highly advice reporting it there instead, because Roblox can’t change anything related to other services beside what they own.
