The years begin in at Z.E. (Zarek Area). The time before that is know as B.Z.E. (Before Zarek Era).
If you haven’t, go ahead and read Knights of The Sun Lore [Part 2]: The War Times then go ahead and do that before you read this. It contains much foundation for the lore coming up. Of course you do need to, it just makes more sense.
The Retreat Into Midus (Z.E. 3,680)
Leaving the burning pile that was once Ignus Village behind, the remaining forces of the Knights Of The Sun hurried into the close by, Midus Forest, trying to take refuge in the Midus Outpost, where a few more of their forces waited. With the Ovum Forces close behind, William and his commanders had to leave much of their provisions behind to hurry their way up. Finally the reached Midus Outpost.
A Rising Army (Z.E. 3,680)
From within Midus, William started to train his forces. Much harder than ever before. He trained their combat skills, agility, and smarts all in the same day. But even though the work was hard, they were still loyal to the Sun.
Moral Lowers (Z.E. 3,680)
Although their loyalty was high, some of the younger soldiers started to feel down upon themselves. Especially Boltius. He looked down at his skill, because he was never so good at the agility, but he was rather fine at Combat. But he continued to train, and he finally got out of the mentality.
Researching Skorlar
Finally William thought it was time to start researching his enemy. So he and a squad of knights went deep into Midus. To places where none had been in many years. There they found many ruins there and many ancient things from around Z.E. 250. This was the time of Skorlar’s rule. Many stones were found in the ruins, that had phrases like: “He is a monster, help us!”. This chilled the bones of many of the knights. Finally after searching for many hours they came across a stone that told of his tale. It also told of a weakness, but that part was destroyed beyond repair. As they left the area, Ovum Forces jumped them and a large battle was started. Even Skorlar himself came. Joo of IceSpike killed 32 Ovum goons, this was the most killed in that battle. Finally they retreated back into the outpost. Now they they had to find out what his weakness was, or they would never get Ignus Village back.
