Santa Quest: A multi-part quest with a secret recipe prize! This event will last for the rest of December, with several individual and global quests. Check #development-news for clarification and extra tips! Click the button on the right side of your screen to open a UI with information.

Santa crashed his sleigh into the volcano and it broke into pieces! Help him find all of the pieces to save Christmas by completing a series of quests. Find him inside the restaurant to begin.

Advent Calendar: Log into the game every day to receive a free gift such as a secret recipe, secret drink, particle, trail, Sushi Rolls, Points, and more! The prizes get progressively better. You must play for 15 minutes to claim the reward each day. Those who claim their reward every day until Christmas will be given an exclusive prize! Lasts until December 25th.
Elf Event: An elf is hidden around the restaurant! If you can find it, interact with the elf and your username will be logged. We will randomly select 5 winners each day to get an exclusive particle! The elf moves every day at 12:00 AM EST. Lasts until December 25th.

Sushi Merchant

Sushi Roll Merchant: Every few weeks (will be announced), the sushi roll merchant will spawn near the merch shop with three unobtainable items you can buy. These items will go away (potentially forever) 24 hours later. This week, you can buy the takoyaki secret recipe, beach volleyball trick, and spooky uniform. Make sure to buy them before they go off sale tomorrow!
Secret Recipe Menu: Each chef will spawn with their own secret recipe menu. Hand this to your customer at the start of the meal so they know what secret recipes you own! Secret recipes have been removed from the main menu so you must give your menu if you want players to order those items.

June Global Dishes Event

We’re excited to be starting a new global dishes event! Create dishes to add to the global dishes count and unlock futuristic themed prizes such as a secret recipe, uniform, particle, etc. View the board in the kitchen to see how many dishes need to be made and the prizes. We only want people who contributed to earn the prizes so you must make a certain number of dishes in order to get the reward. There is a button to view the rules and contribution requirements on the board as well. As long as you meet the requirement before the end of the event, you can get a prize even if it has been unlocked already. We hope you enjoy working together!

Journal

Today we’re launching a brand new journal feature based on many of your suggestions. This includes the ability to show off your stats, write about yourself, and view an index to see what items you’re missing. You can open your journal using the small button on the left side of your screen with a pencil. Open other player’s journals by interacting with them and pressing “Journal”. We hope to continue to add more prompts and ways to customize the design. Enjoy!

Page #1 (Stats): View stats about the player such as their Points, Sushi Rolls, play time, tips, gamepass dining, XP, and more. This will replace the previous dining areas interact button. Look in the journal to check if your customer owns a gamepass dining area.

Page #2 (About): Players can write a five line description of themselves and then answer over a dozen specific questions. This will allow you to get to know others!

Page #3 (Secret Recipes): View all of a player’s secret recipes and what they’re missing. Hover over to learn if they’re still obtainable and how to get it. This will replace the secret recipes interact button.

Page #4 (Index): This page includes particles, trails, nametags, tricks, and uniforms. View a list of all of those cosmetics in the game and see which ones you have/are missing. Hover over to learn if they’re still obtainable and how to get it.

Greetings Slots: You can now purchase new greetings slots for 20 Robux each. The slots can be moved up and down so you can put them in the order you’d like. Note: All of the slots you need in order to serve are already given for free. This is for people who like to add extra to their serving experience.

Multi-NPC Parties

Multi-NPC Parties:

There is a chance you will spawn a table NPC party with two people. Both NPCs will give you a point (with a 50% chance of getting one extra point per NPC). The NPCs will give two points if they are celebrity.
How does spawning work? The game will first decide what type of special NPC(s) will spawn. Then, it will select whether they are regular customers or celebrity. Chances for celebrity are the same. For multi-NPC parties, both customers will either be regular or celebrity.

Menu Descriptions: By popular request, we have added descriptions of the menu items to give customers a better idea of what they’re ordering. Hover (PC) or hold down (mobile) on menu items to see the description.

Table NPCs

Table NPCs:

Head over to the last two registers at the front counter. When you approach them, you will be prompted to join the queue. The queue can have a maximum of 8 people (4 in each lane) at a time but you can join as soon as a spot frees up.
An NPC will approach the first person. You must say your greeting. From there, you will be prompted to take your NPC to the dining area. An arrow will point you to a portal in the back of the restaurant. Once the NPC is at the portal, you can teleport to the dining area.
Your customer will have a seat at the grill. Instructions at the top of your screen will guide you. You will start by asking what they want for that particular course. Make sure to include the name of the course and make your message sufficiently long. You will then prepare the item and hand it.
After you’re done serving your NPC, it will give you points and head back to the portal. At this point, you can return to the restaurant.
Here are a few important notes:
XP will be given as you cook and it will show you how much you earned when you return to the restaurant.
A quest has been added to serve a certain number of table NPCs.
Boosts for Robux do NOT work for table NPCs.

March Global Dishes Event & Easter

Global Dishes Event: Work together to create as many food dishes as you can! The count of all the dishes can be found in the kitchen on a board. As dishes are made, prizes will be unlocked, including: Sushi Rolls, Points, and the release of our biggest update yet. Good luck!

Break Room Refresh: Refreshed the break room rewards! Includes: secret recipe (Onigiri), secret drink (Cosmic Ade), particle, nametag, and trail!
New Trick: Added a trick to celebrate our five year anniversary for Sushi Rolls!
Build Changes:

Removed the sushi conveyor belt and replaced that area with more tables and a big grill (includes a fridge & ice cream makers)!

Mod Call

Mod Call:

Click the button at the top of your screen that says “Mod Call”. You can only submit a report if there’s no MR+ in the server.
It will display people with 2 or more warnings. Select the individual you’d like to report.
Add an optional description. The user’s warnings will be sent with the report so only add information not included in their warnings.
Once you submit the report, their name will be removed from the list and an Executive will come as soon as possible.
These are the report cooldowns: Junior Hibachi Chef-Hibachi Chef = 5 minutes. Head Hibachi Chef, Senior Hibachi Chef, and Certified Hibachi Chef = 2 minutes.
If you abuse the mod call system, we will disable your ability to send reports.

Break Room Changes:

Added mute music and SFX settings.
Muted sounds and hid particles on other players to minimize distractions.
Added check marks on earned items.

Other Changes:

Daily rewards will now appear every time you join and you will have the ability to restore your streak for 24 hours.
Changed “Meet a Corporate” quest to “Meet a High Rank” (Manager+). Should be easier to complete!

AFK Break Room

AFK Break Room:

Chefs and Executives can head to a teleporter behind the counter to teleport to the break room.
The break room is meant to be a place to visit when you’re busy (homework, chores, etc) and cannot actively work at the restaurant. Enjoy scenic views and relaxing music.
Every 10 minutes, you will get a reward (Sushi Rolls, XP, particle, trail, nametag, uniform).
Players with Roblox Premium have a higher chance to earn the rare rewards.
The chat is disabled (for now) because it’s not meant to be a social hangout. Additionally, this isn’t a supplement for regular chef activities, but rather a way to earn minor rewards instead of leaving the game.
Minutes for Executive requirements and the leaderboards won’t be counted here.
The prizes will be changed every few months. If you already have earned an item, you will get Sushi Rolls or XP instead. View the chances for different rewards at the top of your screen.
You can view all of your past rewards in the logs UI so you can see what you missed while AFK.

Also, a new chef benefits has been released with the theme candy! Earn XP by doing tasks to unlock limited time themed items. You have until the first week of January to collect the items before they go away forever!

Gifting

Since it’s the season of giving, we’re introducing a gifting feature! You can now buy gamepasses, Points, and Sushi Rolls for your friends and peers. Interact with a player to pull up the “Tip & Gift” UI. From there, you can: tip up to 5 Sushi Rolls, tip Robux, gift gamepasses, and gift Points & Sushi Rolls at the same price as the shop.

More Details:

The Robux tipping UI now displays what will happen when you tip a certain amount (ex: confetti, lantern show, etc).
To gift someone, you must buy the item for Robux at the typical price. This is different from tipping.
When you gift an item, please make sure you know that it’s going to the person you selected and NOT yourself.
The player cannot already own a gamepass if you want to gift it.
The player will be notified once you send a gift and it will show in the chat.

GOLDEN FISHING ROD: The golden fishing rod gamepass has received SO MANY new perks! You will now get 50% more rewards when fishing, the fishing minigame is much easier (less chance of messing up), you have double the chances of finding the secret recipe, and you only need to catch one fish to restock the item rather than 2! May 2023 Chef Benefits: Sakura Flowers

Today we’re introducing a new feature, chef benefits! Basically, all chefs can do the following activities for XP: cooking, tricks, cleaning spills, serving customers, serving NPCs, being active in-game, or being given XP by a Developer/Owner. You can use the XP to level up and earn prizes! Each month, your XP will reset and there will be a new batch of prizes based on a theme. This month, the theme is sakura flowers. You will have until May 31st to earn up to 6 free prizes, which can be found below. You can open this UI by clicking rewards at the top of your screen followed by Chef Benefits. You can also find time rewards here as well. Keep in mind that it’s supposed to take a while to earn these rewards because the event lasts a month. We may adjust the progression values based on how long it’s taking people.

EXTRA CHEF BENEFITS By default, all chefs can earn 3 of the prizes but you can purchase the “Extra Chef Benefits” gamepass to be given double prizes and XP. This gamepass will allow you to get 3 extra prizes every month going forward. Saves lots of Sushi Rolls and gives you an exclusive item that not everyone has!
