RAIDING GUIDE

Terminals
Outpost Basilisk uses a terminal gameplay system that employs four terminals on different locations on the map. Each terminal has two sets of spawns - two spawns for the raiders, and two spots for the defenders. The spawns are an equal distance away from the terminal that is in play. This plays very similar to Rush from Battlefield.

When a terminal is in play, it will automatically be under the control of the defenders - it is their job to keep you from capturing the terminal. As a raider, you must capture and hold the terminal until the point can be secured. Once the point has been secured (as identified by the diamonds on the top of the screen), then the point will be locked for the raiders. Then you will proceed to the next terminal.

Once all four terminals are captured, the raiders win. If the defenders manage to hold the terminals until the time limit reaches 0, then the defenders win.

When a terminal is not in play, it will look like the left image. When it is in play, it will look like the right image.

When the raiders step within range of the terminal, they will capture it and it will look like this:

While the terminal is owned by the raiders, the capture indicator at the top of the screen will begin to turn red. This is based on how long each terminal must be held.

And by the end of the game, if the raiders are winning, the top will look like this:

But remember to keep an eye on the timer. If the timer reaches zero before you capture all the terminals, you will lose the game.

(An overtime feature and 15+ minutes for every terminal captured is planned for future updates.)

WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT GUIDE

Every time a player spawns into the game (either after joining or after death) they will be prompted with a class menu.

Weapons between defenders and raiders are shared - there are no classes that are unavailable to one team. The damage, range, accuracy, and maximum values are the same for both teams.

Each class provides different weapons and equipment to the player.
Each KTA base has different classes - and classes may be added or removed from the time of this post.

Each class is oriented to suit different roles. Not all classes can be used, however - certain specialty classes can only be used by a certain amount of players at any time. When another player is using a class that has a player limit, it will look like this:

When a class shows up with “Max number in play”, that means that you must wait for the person using that class to die before you can use it.

When you run out of ammo, you can reload from an Ammo Crate
Ammo crates are placed in various strategic locations around the map. You must hover your mouse over the ammo crate to interact with it.
