I do a lot of scripting and im thinking about buying a laptop so i can work from remote places. My current idea is to buy macbook air m3 (16ram,512ssd) , but im also wondering if it is worth buying macbook pro for studio, having known that i dont do 3d, mostly just code & test stuff. If anyone has any experience using macbooks in studio, i’d be very grateful to hear some info.

Great mac, only thing to remind you 512 gigabytes go away very quickly, atleast for me, I have also a mac, a Mackbook pro 2019 and I have 500 gigabytes and the storage is about to run out.
So if you want apps like Discord the space is going to run out quickly.
If you don’t need to it can last very very long, great choice.

As to the amount of memory, i actually have 2tb icloud that i share with my friends as a family subscribtion (like 2$ a month for 2tb) so i think ill go for 512 as this will fulfill all my needs

I don’t think 500 GBs isn’t a terrible amount, especially when using cloud storage, which is very useful.
