Large Open world map lags upon loading

Ok, so me and my friend have been working on an open world exploration game for a while, and we realized that the amount of terrain we have makes the game load in around 60~ seconds.

We have been trying to find a way to shorten this loading time; but no methods have worked yet.

Any ideas?

(map size is about 10240x10x10240)

It could be the size and ability of your pc. Sadly depending on what goes on if someone had a pretty bad pc it would take longer. Instead of shorting it make it worth it. Maybe add in a loading gui. I have a few for you I can tinker with to Match your style. Free od charge. Just helping out the community

i do already have a custom load screen, where it explains the loading time. only problem is that it takes around 20 seconds for the loading screen to load.

If this is an issue in studio, parent the map to server storage and load it in when playtesting.

If this is in the live game or studio playtesting, enable streaming in workspace, and set the values to 64 and set StreamOutBehavior.
