Large spike in HTTP 429 DataStore fails after adopt me update this morning

Since 16:23 UTC time, we have been seeing the following DataStore error: 502 API Services rejected request with error. HTTP 429

Here is the graph of the number of fails over time. Is anyone else seeing this in their games as well? It has been consistently happening for almost two hours now.

Edit: DataStore requests have also been queuing the whole time this has been happening:

I got the exact same issue since today


As an update, these issues should be resolved now. There was 60% increase in traffic this morning due to new Christmas game releases and we had to scramble to allocate more capacity. We should now be sufficiently over-provisioned to avoid any more issues. We apologize for any inconvenience and thanks to everyone for your patience as we worked to resolve the issue!
