Layered clothing being wrongly labled as 'bodysuits'

This is something that have came up recently, however things like skirts and dresses primarily have been changed from the dress/ skirt category to ‘body suits’ type of layered clothing. Which is very, very bad because it doubles the price of those items

THIS is a bodysuit. This is fine being changed

this is infact NOT a bodysuit and i dont know wtf roblox is doing

Bear in mind this has affected hundreds and dozens of items from me and other users and it should be fixed asap

The main issue is that the behavior isn’t consistent and it means there isn’t a level playing field to be able to compete in the marketplace. Roblox should revert the rollout of the body suit pricing until they can iron out the issues with misidentification

Heavily agreeing on this, they basically just labeled all of my existing dresses as body suits including a trench coat for some reason and its just ridiculous on how it’s currently automating this selection.

Not wrong. Body suit is when your cloth affects (RightUpperLeg, LeftUpperLeg, LowerTorso, UpperTorso, RightUpperArm and LeftUpperArm

Bear in mind, mass majority affected are sleeveless dresses with literally zero arm weight painting influences, so according to those terms still wrong

I get why Roblox added this update, it’s mainly to try and balance out competition, it’s like when people were uploading hair as face accessories because it was much much cheaper, but their detection of body suits is terrible and mainly only hurts genuine creators

So it could be affecting upper torso, lower torso, RightUpperLeg, LeftUpperLeg since some body suits are sleeveless

Thanks for bringing up this issue! We’re currently working on a new feature that will let creators submit requests for items they believe have been mislabeled. We’re hoping to have this ready in the coming months.

In the meantime, is there a list of items that you believe are mislabeled? I can help take a closer look at these.

Awesome, I can take a look at the items that are directly linked! I’ll circle back when I have updates.

The catalog links are tougher for me to work with since the volume is higher and I’ll have to open each item page individually to get the asset id. Feel free to convert these into direct item page links or include a list of asset ids you’d like reviewed.

I’ll hold off on addressing future requests for review as well. We’re planning a new feature that automates this process and should be ready in the upcoming months, which should make submitting review requests much easier!

We’ve recently implemented a feature to allow “Category Review” requests for items that could be considered bodysuits! These requests will be automatically forwarded to our team for review, and you should get a result back in a couple of days.

Do you want to try out this feature? I’ve included a screenshot of where the “Category Review” button is.
