I’ve been working for 3 days, constantly trying to fix a dress I made for LC. Today, I finally got it to work. I opened studio, uploaded the dress, pressed play, dropped it onto my avatar, and tested it as if in a game. The LC was completely perfect, I even tested it across a bunch of different body bases and avatar scaling. Perfect.
I upload the LC as ugc, wait for Roblox to moderate it, wear it, and join a game. What happens? It’s clipping through the avatar. My first thought is okay, maybe it’s just this body base or game causing the issue. I change both the base and game multiple times, and it’s still the same issue. I go back to the studio, press play again, and the LC is performing perfectly. Make it make sense. We’re supposed to pay 750 robux for something to not work? If it works while testing, it should work normally, too.
This is really weird, I’m not new to LC nor uploading to UGC; this has never really happened before. If it’s perfect in studio, it’s usually always perfect in a game, too.
I want to mention that the LC looked perfect in the avatar upload section as well while I was playing anims. As well as in-studio game testing.
How else are they expecting us to test LC before we need to pay Robux to upload it? It makes no sense. They are making this much harder than it needs to be for developers and UGC creators.
