Layered Clothing Items Disappearing Ingame

Several of my layered clothing items have been affected by a bug which causes them to not appear on a player’s avatar when they are worn on the website or in a game. When joining a game, the suits will appear for a fraction of a second before immediately disappearing and will appear for a short period of time when resetting before disappearing once more, as seen in the attached video.

These are links to some of the affected items:

Expected behavior

The suits and other clothing items should be very visible on your avatar. I have attached an example of how the items used to look before the bug.

In what game are you experiencing this? Thank you!
Stef

@Clockset It looks like the 3 LC items were all made by you. I tried all 3. The only one that doesn’t work is the white seal one. Could you confirm?
Also your test place is natural disaster simulator, right? Just want to make sure this is not a game-specific issue.

The test place is natural disaster survival but the bug persists in every other LC supported game that I have tried as well. I have attached a larger list of my items that have been affected by the bug as well:

We will have some one in our team to take a look at these asset, but did you say that even the Yellow Pufferfish Suit doesn’t work at all. I tried it. It works for me. Just want to confirm.

Yes it does not appear to work for me. I have also received reports from other buyers of my items that this suit along with the others I listed disappear ingame

Hello,

This is not a bug, although I understand why it looks like one. The main issue is that these assets have very large and odd caging, which can make current and even other layered clothing extremely big. To prevent this from disturbing experiences, we remove problematic layers.

In the future, we are hoping to detect these issues during upload, to make it easier for creators to fix.

You can see here how the clothing looks, with the outer cage surrounding it extending far past it and in sharp directions. For reference, I also added the default rig.

To ensure this is not tagged as problematic during runtime, please adjust the outer cage to be a tighter fit. You can learn more about caging practices here Caging Best Practices | Documentation - Roblox Creator Hub.

Thank you for letting me know. Is there a way to adjust current items to fit with this new change?
