Layered Clothing - Mesh is deformed, literally

Hello everyone, I have a custom R15 character, rigged and everything. I modeled him some shorts which I weight painted to fit the character. I also made an inner and outer cage to be able to put the shorts on the character in Studio.

Although when I put it in Studio, the shorts looked like they were ripped in pieces.

The shorts bend perfectly with the character and are the correct size, they just look messed up for whatever reason.

Any help appreciated.

Have you gotten any help on this issue?

I too have been running into many issues with custom rigs and layered clothing that seems impossible to solve.

Although it may look like your shorts have AutoSkin enabled? If not, enabling that may help
