Ever wondered how top UGC creators think about and make some of the most popular avatar items on Roblox? Join us to see how I learn the process of making (and publishing!) my first avatar item with help from Reverse_Polarity and Madison_Hatter2.
What you’ll learn
This series of videos is geared towards anyone who’s never built anything in Roblox or for creators looking for extra guidance on how to succeed on the platform.
Texture that simple avatar item and publish it to the Marketplace from Roblox Studio.

The Riddling Skull was my initial spark of inspiration as a developer back in 2008! It looked so cool, I taught myself through experimentation the basics of texturing. In 2012, Roblox published one of my retextures to the Catalog, Grim Glow! Before UGC, there was RAOC (Retexture Artists Official Channel, a Group of about 120 developers invited by the Admins to edit hats.) So thrilled to finally see its origin story in your video!
Just finished watching the videos, and I have to say these were really fun and I’d love to see more! Watching Ducks create a UGC for the first time while also learning some stuff myself was a great combination. Impressive how some people can remember all the keybinds inside blender
Also getting the “giga fivehead duck” created in the videos is just the cherry on top!
Hey all we had to update instructions on how to get the free item: Just leave a comment here on this devforum post with your Roblox User ID (eg. 3280509951) to receive it after the redemption window closes
These tutorials seem pretty useful for beginners to start making their own UGC Items, I would like to see more like these in the future ^^. ID: 336942280
