Learn how to model and texture with Reverse_Polarity and Madison_Hatter2!

Hey Creators (especially aspiring artists)!

Ever wondered how top UGC creators think about and make some of the most popular avatar items on Roblox? Join us to see how I learn the process of making (and publishing!) my first avatar item with help from Reverse_Polarity and Madison_Hatter2.

What you’ll learn

This series of videos is geared towards anyone who’s never built anything in Roblox or for creators looking for extra guidance on how to succeed on the platform.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Make a simple avatar item in Blender with efficient workflows and modeling tools

  • Texture that simple avatar item and publish it to the Marketplace from Roblox Studio.

And how to sell and promote avatar items on the Marketplace with insights from Reverse_Polarity and Madison_Hatter2- the link to that interview is up top or you can watch it here.

For more information on how to create UGC on Roblox, see the documentation:

But wait, there’s more!

You can get your very own rendition of the rubber ducky shoulder pal that’s built in these videos by filling out the following form by the end of April! Immortalize your learning with this very exclusive item.

The Riddling Skull was my initial spark of inspiration as a developer back in 2008! It looked so cool, I taught myself through experimentation the basics of texturing. In 2012, Roblox published one of my retextures to the Catalog, Grim Glow! Before UGC, there was RAOC (Retexture Artists Official Channel, a Group of about 120 developers invited by the Admins to edit hats.) So thrilled to finally see its origin story in your video!

Just finished watching the videos, and I have to say these were really fun and I’d love to see more! Watching Ducks create a UGC for the first time while also learning some stuff myself was a great combination. Impressive how some people can remember all the keybinds inside blender

Also getting the “giga fivehead duck” created in the videos is just the cherry on top! :two_hearts:
