Legal Options against Exploiter Asset Leaks?

Say i put enough watermarks on some assets to determine that they were made by me and an exploiter leaks assets and attempts to either sell, use, or upload them to the toolbox.

Is taking legal action like copyright infringement in hopes of getting reparation in form of compensation and/or removal of those assets from games or the toolbox something I can do.

I’m aware that you can’t entirely prevent asset leaking, but if legal options can’t be done please explain why and what other options there are to at the very least prevent other projects or people from selling or using those assets.

For the sake of conversation lets say I can finance the lawyers required for this.

Edit - I’m aware that most projects don’t expend a large budget or amount of time dedicated towards the graphics of their games and therefore may not care. I however take great pride in the quality of my work and the effect it has in elevating a game’s experience. Please keep this in mind.

The main means of dealing with this is to file a DMCA take down of things that steal your assets. I don’t know whether you can get reimbursed, but you can generally get them taken down.

From here:

If you believe that someone has improperly copied original material that you previously uploaded to Roblox, you may file a complaint using Roblox’s User-to-User Copying Complaint Process. A complaint may be filed by emailing copyright_agent@roblox.com, identifying the copied material, the original work, and any other relevant details. Please view the “Disputes Between Users and Creators or Between Creators” section of our Terms of Use for more information.

Alternatively, you can try making use of the Rights Manager page
