Introduction
Legion is a game composed of two teams, in which each team must collectively and collaboratively work together to eliminate the opposing team’s members first, before the clock runs out. Legion is set in the 18th to early 19th century, and includes weapons from the napoleonic wars, world war 1, and many other historical events.
How the game works
Each game lasts fifteen minutes. If the fifteen minutes has passed, and no team has successfully eliminated the entire opposing team, the team with the highest eliminations will win by default.
During the intermission between each game, players can decide and select a team, based off their own preferences. Once the intermisson has ended, players must wait through a countdown of ten seconds, where they can equip, and get ready for the upcoming battle.
As stated previously, Legion is set in the 18th-19th century. The weapons included in the game include: carbines, rifles, muskets and additionally short ranged melee weapons such as sabres and knives.
In-game purchases and cosmetics
Legion is entirely free-to-play, in terms of the main gameplay. The game is completely playable without in-game purchases and other products.
Cosmetics
Cosmetics which include exclusive faces, accessories, and many more, can be purchased in packs in the in-game store, and customized during intermission. Generally, cosmetics can be purchased at a relatively small price, typically ranging in the 30-50 R$ range. Cosmetics cannot, and are not intended to, give any player an advantage over other players.
Premium (game-pass)
Premium (game-pass), is an exclusive gamepass which can be purchased for 100 R$. It benefits the purchaser with:
- 20% increased rewards (gold, exp),
- $1,500 daily bonus,
- 20% discounted store items,
- Beta testing access,
- Chat name tag,
- Overhead cosmetics.
Premium (roblox subscription service)
Unfortunately, Legion does not provide any benefits to roblox premium subscribers as of yet.
Like other cosmetics, premium does not give any players an advantage over other players when in a pvp situation or battle.
Credits
Legion surprisingly uses a few free models, which only includes the main, core weapons. I would like to dedicate this to show my appreciation and gratefulness for this model, as it greatly helped not only me, but several others to learn and understand Roblox lua as a coding language, My programming skills have greatly improved due to the generosity provided by the original creator of this model.
Additionally, I would like to give my greatest thanks to CoderQwerty for creating the inspiration behind Legion, Blood & Iron. Blood & Iron substantially inspired the making of Legion.
Personally, I do not deserve much credit for my work, as I have been constantly encouraged by friends, and family to never give up and keep working hard. So, it’s really my friends and family who deserve the most credit here.
