If you look at my username it’d be pretty easy to tell that I love sharks. I include sharks into pretty much everything I do. I decided to test my skills and make a graphic of one of my Roblox characters riding a Great White. Do they look like they’re underwater? If so, I completed my task! If not, what are some ways I could make it seem that way?
Now that is a good representation of SharkBite
I like it!
This looks amazing. Some feedback:
- There’s an inconsistency in the water particles. Makes it look like its copy pasted to different locations.
- You could add a slight gradient to the shark and the guy to make it seem bluish to give the effect of water.
- There’s the white outline, looks stylish but could be better. This is pretty good looking too.
Now that I think about it, you’re kinda right!
Sharkbite’s development team needs to get on this immediately
Thank you!
I did use a different water particle for variation purposes but those ones are barely visible. They’re a little darker and much smaller.
I did use a color correction filter on the render to give it that blueish underwater look. Maybe one slightly lighter could’ve worked better? I’ll keep that in mind for next time I try something like this.
And the white outline is an outer glow effect I put on the render. Just to make it pop more. I could have blurred it a bit and gave it that look I think you are imagining.
Thank you for the feedback though! I’ll try my best to incorporate your thoughts into some more shark related pieces I do because there will definitely be more
