Let us view how many consecutive days we've been on the DevForum

Currently, in my opinion, it is too hard to receive the Aficionado and Devotee badge.

The main reason why this is too hard is because people don’t know how many consecutive days they’ve been on the Developer Forum. We don’t have any sort of counter that tells us how many times we’ve been on the Developer Forum without missing a day.

So that just leaves us thinking if we’ve ever missed a day and if we’re wasting our time by continuing the streak that we may have lost, but we don’t know for sure.

So the suggestion:

Add a counter somewhere on the site that tells us how many consecutive days we have visited the forum.

Thanks!

I’m not sure if this is a thing that Roblox can do without some amount of overhead. The Discourse API doesn’t seem to provide any way to keep track of it.

I found a plugin that the discourse forum uses where they’re able to tell how many consecutive days someone has viewed the forum.

It was the Data Explorer Plugin.

Here’s an example of how it works. It shows the range of how long a player stays active in a forum.

We have the Data Explorer Plugin, but it’s SIGNIFICANTLY more powerful than you make it out to be. Giving users access to the data explorer would be a total security nightmare.

Please request this be added as a feature/plugin on the meta Discourse forums instead:

Wouldn’t there be a way to display only the wanted information on the forum, and not everything else?

Not without making a brand new plugin (which you should ask the Meta Discourse community for).
