Let's Make A 3D Model!

Aloha!

Recently, I’ve noticed that I only model for work or projects and I don’t really set any time aside to make fun models or hone my skills anymore. I’ve decided it’s time to change that and do something fun today but I don’t know what to make.

If you guys would help me decide, I’d appreciate it. Nothing too insane, just a simple but fun project. I’ll also post the model when done for all of you to have for free.

Here’s a couple of my models that I’ve made before for reference of my skill:

Good luck guys!

Hello,

I don’t have much ideas but, I was thinking for a bit and noticed why don’t you let your mind take over while creating models. I know it might sound unclear but a great start would be thinking while your actually creating it. Having a free space while working is awesome.

What I’m saying is add on to an idea as you work. It’s also exiting to see the results.

I know modeling sometimes can be hard but try to do things you haven’t done before!

I hope this helps!

Since, you’re bored, here’s just some ideas.:upside_down_face:

The D.C. monuments
  • The Washington Monument

  • The Capitol

  • The White House (its not really considered as a monument, but it’s historic.)

  • Thomas Jefferson Memorial

  • The Abraham Lincoln Memorial

  • The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial

New York (stuff)
  • The Statue of Liberty

  • Times Square on New Year’s with the ball drop thingy

Why, after typing all of that I feel inspired to make all of it (I’m a 3D modeler):sob::sparkles:

modelling baroque style stuff in blender is always good fun and topology practise.
