This is the Library of Aletheia, a unique game that allows anyone to write their own book. A procedurally generated library that stores and holds over 500,000 books that can be written by anyone, and kept forever. The library is built with the principal that we do not moderate the books, nor favour any book that our visitors write. You can simply join and explore a never ending library with a never ending supply of books to read!
The library relies on it’s visitors to fill it’s shelves with books, do not hesitate to write even a short paragraph proclaiming your visitation, we don’t judge what you write. Please note that your book can be reported and is still subject to Roblox’s strict filtering & moderation.
1. Game Notices (IMPORTANT)
When you purchase a book colour from the book stand at spawn, your colour might not reflect immediately. Please note that your book was purchased and will change in a newer server!
Some players might not get their book published correctly, if you can not find your book, including the “Profile” section, please contact us in our group wall to get this issue fixed.
We have noted multiple problems with our autosave removing some of your content or not saving anything at all, we are sorry about this and you’ll need to wait for V3 to fix these issues. Please refer below.
We always recommend writing longer pieces of texts into an external application as protection incase our systems do not save your book correctly or something goes wrong while you’re publishing.
2. Frequenty Asked Questions
“How do I make a book?”
You can find the Book Pedestal to the left of you when you spawn with a title above it, click that to begin writing. All books that are black in appearance can be clicked/tapped to open the Book Creation GUI, you can add a title and press the arrow button on the right to make your first page!
“How do I find player-created books?”
Every book that is not black has been created by a player and placed there by random, simply click/tap the book to begin reading! There is also a search by going to your personal menu in the bottom right and then pressing “Search Books”, this is where you can easily search for any book you desire! You can also include player’s names to see books by those players!
“What can I write about?”
There is absolutely no limits as to what you can write about! You can write as long as you want, or as short as you want, whatever you want. The book doesn’t even have to be a book, it can be written about your life, showing appreciation to your friends or even just saying Hello World!
Please do note that the book should still be appropriate for all ages.

“Where can I find my book after I’ve published it?”
Your book will be placed in the same place you clicked/tapped it, however do note that when you leave the game and join another server, your book will be placed in another location. You can search your book’s Author/Title through our personal menu at the bottom right or bottom of your screen and then pressing “Search Books” or “Profile” to see your collection of published books.
“My book is just hashtags, what can I do?”
Unfortunately this means that Roblox thinks your book is inappropriate, you can try and edit your book again to try and remove the filters, however; bypassing filters can get your book banned.
“How big is the library?”
The Library is randomly generated every single time a new server is created! This means the Library will look different every single time! You can explore so much by going to a door that has a a purple highlight around it, this will generate even more of the game!
If your game is laggy, it might be due to the server being very big due to age. We always recommend our free Private Servers for a smoother and quiet experience
“How many books can I publish?”
We grant every player 1 free book, however a second book will cost 80 Robux. You can create as many books as you can buy after the first. We do host events reguarly that can allow you to get extra free books, you can find that via our shouts.
“How many characters can a book be?”
Your book can have as many characters as possible, there isn’t a per-page character limit either, however the page will get smaller, some bigger devices won’t be able to read your text so try and keep your per-page content consistent and not too long.
“What can I do if my book is deleted/removed by a moderator?”
You’ll have to join our communications server in order to appeal to a moderator, usually moderators will delete your book with good reason however it is easy to get another chance if you ask a about your book deletion.
“How do I edit my books?”
You can find your own books in the “Profile” tab at the bottom of your screen. Simply press the book you want to edit, walk to the book, open it, and you’ll see the option to edit your book. You can do this as many times as you’d like!
We store our books forever, what does that mean?
By forever, we really mean forever. Every single book that you create into this game gets backed-up externally, every single book will stay intact for the future. It is our project’s goal to preserve these books longer than our lifetimes.
