Light from PointLight reflection

  • What are you attempting to achieve?
    I want something like this


    As you can see the light is reflected in the slate which is what i am looking for (this is from a game i play)

  • What is the issue?
    The issue is that it looks like this


    which is not what i want

  • What solutions have you tried so far?
    I have looked through the wiki, i have search the internet all things i can find is how to do this for the skybox light in textures and normal parts but i don’t want the skybox just the PointLight.
    I have also tried asking the owner of the game for a solution the only info he would give is that he used future as the light engine and that he tweaked some settings but not which settings.

You’re thinking of FiB. Go to Lighting in the explorer, select the Technology property, and change it to Future.

that’s what i already have and it doesn’t work it is what you can see on the second image

Try changing range and brightness? I got it to work with just future lighting

the light is coming onto the surface but there’s no reflections that is just it with the light is on but i mean more of a metal shining reflection

This can also be because your Studio graphics settings is set to Automatic. If you join the game, it should be fixed (as long as your playtest graphics are all the way up)

If you want to see the reflections while editing (which is unrecommended unless you have a beefy computer), go to File > Studio Settings > Rendering (something along those lines) > Edit Mode Graphics (again, something along those lines) and change it to Level 21.

For even more effect, change lighting mode to futuristic.

So i don’t want to be rude but i litteraly said multiple time that it was what i used
