I am having a problem with my roblox studio lighting. So far I have tried to turn on castshadow, made my map shadowmap and futuristic but still, shadows dont appear at all for me.

Probably your graphics, go into settings and turn the graphics up until the shadows appear.
EDIT: oof just realized your probably in studio. Go to File > Studio Settings > Rendering and scroll till you see a setting called edit quality level, it needs to be at least 09 to see shadows.
Is GlobalShadows enabled? you can also check the ShadowSoftness property
This was very helpful but sadly I have a very slow pc and its lagging from the shadow. But thank you.
NP, I have the same issue so I usually keep mine below 9 lol. Shadows are bad for potato PCs.
my pc is an optiplex 780 so it is really bad for modern day stuff online. It literally keeps saying (not responding) when i simply try and open roblox studio. Sometimes I wait for about a minute for something to load in
