Lighting separates into a lighter shade when far enough

You can write your topic however you want, but you need to answer these questions:

  1. What do you want to achieve? Keep it simple and clear!
    I want to get rid of this line…

  2. What is the issue? Include enough details if possible!
    When I move about 100 studs away from anything this wierd thing shows up

  3. What solutions have you thought of so far?
    I have tried changing the technology, the shadow softness, and diffuse scale

After that, you should include more details if you have any. Try to make your topic as descriptive as possible, so that it’s easier for people to help you!

Could you highlight which line you’re talking about?

The part where it suddenly turns bright, I guess I wasn’t very clear… Sorry!

You mean when it turns blue? If that’s what you’re talking about;

  • Check your Studio settings (Alt + S)
    • Go to ‘Rendering’
      • Set the ‘Editor Quality Level’ to the highest level (21)

Then check if you still see it. Could just be a rendering issue.

It is at 21 in the picture, is there a way to fix the rendering? It has been doing this for a while and idk what to do at this point…

Well what does the blue part originally look like?

It is a mid grey basic concrete part… Lemmie get a pic rq

It only really happens in shadows…

Sometimes if a part is too thin, and you zoom out;

The way it looks glitches.

So make sure the tunnel thing isn’t thin and be sure there isn’t any other part really close behind it that appears when you move far away

Example:

Brown part with a blue part just an inch away from it

I move far away and it turns like that, try to check if it’s that.

Could you save the buggy part into a file and send it? I’ll open it up in Studio and check it out.

This for a core game im workin on btw

Okay so, what the arrow is pointing at, is the actual color of the part, every darker shade is part of the shadow.

So I selected every part and turned CastShadow off.

And that turned it all into the original color.

If you’re looking for that darker shade of grey, then simply just recolor after turning CastShadow off.

Some parts look like they have a different color but that’s because when CastShadow is turned off, the sun beam goes the wall. So the colors will change depending on the camera angle but it’s not a big deal.

You also have wayyyyy too many parts. So I’ve gone ahead and made it for you on Blender, way more optimized;

Even made sure to include the gap for the window/control room.

Import it by going to
image

AVATAR > Import 3D > Select the file > turn on Anchored in the import settings

And after importing, ungroup the model, cause really it’s just one part, and SELECT THE MESH AND INSIDE OF ITS PROPERTIES, TURN ON DoubleSided So it doesn’t look invisible from the inside.

Hope I solved your issue, if you have anymore concerns just reply to me!
