I made this lightning photo with photoshop, rotating the image and cutting off the extra lightning particles so i could use this photo for a lightning trail in my game. But now when i upload the image id in the trail properties the image rotates and puts the lightning vertical.

Trails use the texture vertically, so just rotate the image in photoshop to be vertical.
Also, theres a little spot that you should get rid of

I just said photoshop because you said its what you used, but any art program would work. Just use the selection tool to select the entire image, then rotate it 90 degrees, I don’t know the photoshop keybinds but holding something like control or shift might set it to be hard angles so you can easily get 90 degrees.
