LIMBO - Next Generation Roblox Horror

G’day everybody!

Today I’m announcing some major news for a long term project of mine, LIMBO.
It’s been in this ‘meh’ stage for a while now, a unfinished solo project with old code.

It’s somewhat closer for a co-op release where you play as 4 players &
interact with items around the map while staying out of sight of someone or something(s).

Since we’re going all out for this project, I thought what better place to ask for
what kind of mechanics the Roblox community would want in the game, puzzle
ideas & gameplay content. So now I am asking you, what would be a must to see
featured in your next favorite horror?

Here’s what the game already features or is at least planned to have:

  • High fidelity maps.
  • Electricity puzzles.
  • Very interactable environments.
  • Full PBR Textures.
  • Save & Pause System.
  • Fully Fledged custom human like characters.

Screenshots from the game’s release link, this is set up to give
each and everyone of you a taste of the fidelity in play here.
Lots of attention to detail and sound design.

If you like to fiddle around, see if you can find any interactable items
already in this release space!

If you were to be interested in working on Limbo,
feel free to contact us through our Discord server.

If you do decide to check out this sneak peek on your own,
I would recommend nothing but a high graphics option in game
along with headphones in a dark room.

Damn. What platforms will this support? Looks absolutely amazing. How performant is it currently?

those screenshots literally don’t even look like roblox. amazing job!

as for what i’d like to see in roblox horror games, more actual characters besides yourself. DOORS, residence massacre and such are great games, but they don’t have any characters besides the player in them. i think adding some would give the games a lot more depth and variety.

I wish you good luck with your game.

Yes! I definitely agree with this statement, as far as the story goes I think “monsters” is the wrong approach. Should definitely be humanoid characters being the protagonists as well.

PC and Console. It runs well (>60FPS) even on midrange hardware and should be more than playable on weaker devices.
