"Limit Copies Per User" Setting on Limited UGC Able to be Changed

Affected Catalog UGC Asset: tl bear - Roblox

This UGC was published to the catalog with a Copy Limit Per User of 1 in November 2023. Just today (7/22) I went back and was able to change the Copy Limit Per User to 500- which should not be possible after the UGC is published.

The “Limit Copies Per User” setting is no longer able to be changed now after I already changed it once, giving an unwanted Copy Limit quantity and errors when attempting to change it.

Error reads that there is an “unknown issue” with this item.

Expected behavior

The “Limit Copies Per User” setting on Limited UGC should not be able to be changed/edited after the item is published to the catalog.

This section of the UGC should not have a textbox or be able to be changed.

This isn’t a bug with a catalog asset - it’s a bug with the Creator Hub. Should be in #bug-reports:creator-hub-bugs instead of #bug-reports:catalog-asset-bugs.

As far as I know, this is actually the intended flow. A while back, a change was made which allowed this setting among many others to be edited to be made less restrictive. Keep in mind that you can only change these settings to be less restrictive and as such, you can only increase the limit on copies per user rather than being able to decrease it again; this is certainly an oversight in cases of accidents like this one though.
