I think gears (and potentially hats/packages…?) should have an icon or some sort of information on their item page listing what rig types they are compatible with. I feel this is a needed feature as people spend Robux on these items and may not know if the item will work for their preferred rig or games that use different rigs.
This doesn’t seem like a good idea in the long term because when all gear/packages are compatible with both, the compatibility button wouldn’t serve any purpose.
In the future, all gear, accessories and body parts should work with R15 rigs. If we have items that do not work with R6 rigs, they will be clearly marked.

Maybe, that would be solved by another feature that would allow us to try on items, to check how it would look on us, especially with accesories.
