Literally North America (Suggestions needed)

This is my map for a western game I’ve been working on for nearly a year. It’s a colossal map of North America (it would probably take 30 mins to walk, 15 mins to ride by horse from coast to coast.)

Now, one of the problems I encountered was some landmarks and other notable locations.

However, some of the Green areas that I drew on the map are undeveloped, meaning I don’t really know what to put there.

If anyone is savvy in that area or could give a suggestion on what to fill in, that would be awesome. Thanks guys.

First of all, it looks great. Loving it. :statue_of_liberty:

Anyways,

In the Pacific Northwest, the area where Oregon and Washington are, there are mainly piney forests with tall mountains. The narrow strip of green between the mountain range should also be deserts. That area is mostly deserts.

The green area above the red outline is also, on the top half, mostly forests and on the bottom half mostly just plains.

Also: The center area of the red outline is mostly plains and farms, so more vegetation would be nice. And the Appalachians are not as high as they are. (Mountains to the east.)

Another also: Baja California is for some reason connected to the mainland halfway through, creating a sort of lake. That shouldn’t be there.

Also consider adding the great salt lake.

Anyways, hope this helped. Good job, and keep working on it! (♡≧ 𓎺 ≦)=ъ ♡

Great points, thanks.

Also, yeah the Baja California connection is just a visual glitch in studio. it does that when you get really zoomed out.

That’s actually nuts! Is it smooth when you play it? How do you go about optimizing that much terrain and parts?

It could just be my PC can just handle it, but remarkably is smooth. I try to not use as many parts or scripts to clog things up, and I heard fog helps improve performance. Something I might try in concept later is Depth of Field too.
