This is absolutely AMAZING!, Games will be so much better with these animations but I’m wondering if they can extend the live video from 15 seconds to 1 minute so that we could create story mode games?
Props to the developers, wonderful!

“the animation isn’t that bad!”
the animation in question
Has anyone been able to verify the performance of this? I’m most likely going to be heavily using animations made this way; ie a user will see 16 rigs running these motions at the same time. Is it better to take the time and make choppy animations normally?
I am concerned about the same thing, but I think that deleting most of the keyframes would fix the issue.
I’ve decided to stick to simpler animations with a few keyframes and just rely on roblox’s usual interpolation. It’s probably too costly to use this method while in beta
I have really nothing of worth to contribute to this thread except I just wanna express my gratitude that this feature exists.
I make virtual car review videos within Roblox, and being able to use this Live Animation feature to animate my avatar walking around objects in the workspace is a game-changer, as it takes so little time to get the basic animation done and overall it’s much more reliable than outsourcing the animation work for every single YouTube video.
This feature helps transform my bedroom into a studio that has everything I need to make a videos. Thanks Roblox :]
There needs to be a footlock option so the feet are locked to the ground because most of the animations look unnatural because the feet or torso jiggle the avatar. So, there needs to be a way to prevent that jiggle.
That issue is usually caused by low-quality recordings or distorted video.
I’m surprised to see how well this works but for still poses it’s a bit jittery as you can see at the end of the video below, apart from that it looks terrific.
Is there any support for custom rigs yet?
